5th JANUARY - A NEW VIEW OF THE CHURCHRead 1 Peter 2:4-10What do you think about our church? We all have our preferences, gripes and concerns when it comes to the worship and activity of the church, but do we recognise how special the church is to God? In v.9 Peter talks about the church’s special identity and purpose in this world. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. We know the value of the church to God because He gave His Son for it. Throw yourself into the life of our church this coming year, and pray that you would be able to see it in the way that our Heavenly Father does. - Pray that you will find opportunities to serve alongside others in Connor and know the benefits of life together as a church.- Pray for Dean as he prepares praise for services, and Philip as he prepares to preach each Lord’s Day.
